Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd of September, artists like Safety Trance, Ben Yart, Aiko el grupo, Vatocholo and Sistema de Entretenimiento will grace the two stages of La Playa access free day programming of Cala Mijas festival
They will join The Strokes, Florence + the Machine, Arcade Fire, M83, Underworld, Moderat, Foals, Belle & Sebastian, Duki, and over sixty more acts

An unbeatable plan: beach and concerts during the day, followed by an international festival in the afternoon, lasting well into the early hours. Cala Mijas is the place to close the summer on a high note, set to happen on the 31st of August, 1st and 2nd of September, featuring over 70 artists and 6 stages, attracting audiences from all corners to the Costa del Sol.
The daytime programming of the festival becomes the perfect complement for a fantastic weekend in Cala Mijas, with a free access music lineup running from 12:00h to 16:30h. On Friday and Saturday, 1st and 2nd of September respectively, Cala de Mijas will also enjoy daytime music on two stages located in El Torreón, in Cala de Mijas town. On Friday, the daring Ben Yart, the neocorridos of the Spanish-Mexican artist Vatocholo, the Malaga-based band Lord Malvo, the young producer and selector from Granada, Natural Language, and Rocío Saiz as DJ will kick off the daytime programming of the festival. On Saturday, the Venezuelan artist Safety Trance, known for collaborations with Arca on “El Alma que te trajo” and productions like “Prada,” “Rakata” and “Tiro,” will lead the day alongside the quartet Aiko el grupo and the group from Barcelona, Sistema de Entretenimiento. Also, there will be Mijas’ rock from The Deniros and live performances by Playdoo Club (Robzzz b2b Rata de Internet) from Granada.
For yet another year, the Organization in collaboration with the Mijas Town Hall is launching an extensive shuttle service to facilitate mobility to the festival with free shuttle buses running continuously. Additionally, there will be three parking lots for those arriving by car, as well as organized round-trip journeys directly to the festival from nearby locations such as Málaga, Estepona, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, and Marbella. The festival also has the option of camping and glamping located in El Hipódromo.
