The international festival takes advantage of every hour of sun, beach and music to make the Cala Mijas experience the eternal summer. With performances that will remain engraved in the memory of each attendee, we summarise the 10 key moments of this second day:
1. The Strokes gave their highly anticipated performance, reminiscing with songs that have marked generation after generation and continue to excite audiences as if they were new releases. The New Yorkers started off to the incredible rhythm of What Ever Happened? and revolutionised all those present, who danced and chanted tirelessly to the generational anthems of one of the most relevant bands of the 2000s.

2. The french-sounding electronics of M83 charmed the public with their personal musical journey in the early hours of the morning, between coloured lights, synth-pop and hits like their Midnight City or Outro.

3. Underworld unleashed the euphoria of the festivalgoers with the charismatic presence of the legendary electronic duo. A performance that made everyone present rise up and enjoy an eternal night.

4. Punk music travelled from Melbourne to Costa del Sol with the appearance of Amyl & The Sniffers. Singer Amy Taylor’s outpouring of energy and charisma marked the band’s performance, which brought the house down with songs like Hertz.

6. Spanish talent made its mark on attendees. Cariño filled the Victoria stage with danceable pop, Granada-based group Lori Meyers played soon after, followed by Delaporte’s electropop spirit and Playback Maracas electrifying staging.

7. Singer-songwriters Charlie Cunningham and Kevin Kaarl were the perfect soundtrack to liven up the afternoon, performing enveloping melodies amidst unbeatable views of Costa del Sol.

8. The surrounding sound – and atmosphere – of La Caleta kept its electronic commitment up to standard, in a day where Call Super, Saoirse, OURI with their live set or the national talent of YUNG PRADO dazzled all those who enjoyed the most unique space in the festival.
